Cyndi and Gibby are Married! Part 2

As promised here are the sweet couple pictures of Cyndi and Gibby.  The light was absolutely delicious, I just love shooting late in the evening before sunset and I could have asked for a better couple to shoot with.  They were so cute and full of joy.  2009 has just begun and this was a fantastic way to start off the season.  Thank you so much Cyndi and Gibby, it was incredible shooting with you!

Cyndi and Gibby are Married! Part 1

On April 4, 2009 I had the pleasure of shooting Gibby and Cyndi amazing wedding.  I have to admit, this was the largest wedding party I've ever shot, 26 I believe was the grand total, so I was prepared for a day filled of fun and laughter.  I was not disappointed in the least, everyone was ready for a great time and there were so many great moments to photograph.  The best part was that I didn't feel like just the photographer, I felt like part of the party.  I have so many awesome shots of Gibby and Cyndi together that I've decided to blog those images separately, so come back tomorrow for more amazing images of these two love birds.  In the meantime here are some great images from the day.  Thanks to Gen for seconding shooting with me, check out her blog here for more great images.

So, I don't really know how this came about.  All I know is that during groomsmen pictures one of the guys said..."hold on a sec"  and a few minutes later this is what popped out of the church.
I think the guys thought this was pretty funny too!
So what to do you do when you have a goofy puppet head in the wedding party...?  get crazy!

Funny story here...apparently Cyndi forgot Gibby's ring...ummm OOPS!  So they had to borrow the best man's ring for the ceremony.  The minister must have know about the mishaps because his words were "Gibby, Cyndi presents this ring that she has specially pick out just for you." Needless to say there was quite a bit of laughter during  the ring exchange.

Bill and Megan are Engaged!

From the quiet calm of my blog you may think that I have been hibernating away these past few weeks, but I assure you I have been as busy as a bee, mostly chained to my computer on a short leash.  But this past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting an engagement session for Megan and Bill, my September 5, 2009 couple.  We had such a great time, so much fun that our session lasted a little longer than planned...sorry guys, I get shooting and I get these ideas!  Thankfully both Bill and Megan were totally in for the experience and were more than willing to do whatever I asked, all while laughing and cuddling like adorable engaged couples do.  

Bill is in the army and will be deployed in the fall.  With the sincerest thank you, I speak for many when I say that we are so greatly appreciative of the sacrafices you both make for our wonderful country.

If you know me, you know that I am a total sucker for sun flare...I just love how it looks, I love the mood...everything about it, so of course no engagement shoot is complete without some sun flare shots
